AN INVESTIGATION OF THE SENSORY INTEGRATION MATERIALS DEVELOPED BY THE ASSOCIATE STUDENTS IN THE MATERIAL DEVELOPMENT COURSE

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of associate degree students' studies on developing sensory integration materials in material development course on material development skills. In addition, it is to determine whether the type of high school students graduated from has an effect on the material development process. In the research, one-group quasi-experimental design, which is among the experimental models, was used. The study group of the research consists of students attending Sivas Cumhuriyet University, Vocational School of Health Services, Child Development Department in the academic year of 2021-2022. The research group consists of 27 students, 25 women and 2 men. “Application-Based Educational Technology and Material Development Competencies Scale” was used to obtain data related to the research. Descriptive statistics, dependent groups t test, independent groups t test and frequency analysis were used in the analysis of the data. Considering the findings obtained in the research; it was determined that there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores of the participants. In addition, it was determined that the type of high school graduated from had a significant effect on the average score of the students.
